My name is Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins but I’m known only Anthony Hopkins. I’m 74 years old and I was born in 31 December 1937.

I’m  a Welsh actor of film, stage, and television, and a composer , and I’m considered one of the greatest living actors. I did famous movies like Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs and its sequel, Hannibal. The Mask of Zorro, The Lion in Winter, Magic, The Elephant Man, 84 Charing Cross Road, Dracula, Legends of the Fall, The Remains of the Day, Amistad, Nixon, The World's Fastest Indian, and Fracture. Although I continued in theatre until 1976 when I started doing movies. I received 2 emmys in 1978 and 1981 a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003 , the BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award in 2005 and a lot of other awards.

As of 2007, I’m residing in Los Angeles where a became naturalized in 2000. I’ve been married three times, first with  Martha O'Brien  and Jennifer Lynton, now I’m married to Stella Arroyave.

I’ve been a patron of the YMCA centre in mine hometown and I was President of the National Trust's Snowdonia, I take time to support other various philanthropic groups, and I still got a Guest of Honour at a Gala Fundraiser for Women in Recovery and I was  knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1993 for services to the arts. I’ve been a patron of RAPt and I’m also vegetarian and prominent member of environmental protection group Greenpeace.
